The Restaurant

The return of spring is a merry affair, the menus presented are made livelier and lighter, quickened with the invigorating qualities of many little shoots and pods of little green delights, peas, broad beans, asparagus, wild garlic and the like.  We love the gentle roasting of kid, boar and mutton while fiercely blasting a mighty piece of beef to an almighty crust. It is a lovely time of year, all too short perhaps as summer begins to rise from a long winter`s sleep.
