Quo Vadis & Friends: Stephen Harris

Stephen Harris opened The Sportsman, in Seasalter, Kent, in 1999, following a lucrative career in finance, a stint teaching history and playing in a punk-band. His ‘grotty rundown pub by the sea’, as he once called it, has since won a Michelin star and been crowned National Restaurant of the Year and Gastropub of the Year (among other industry awards), multiple times. Stephen is celebrated for his unpretentious cooking and use of ingredients from his immediate surroundings in Seasalter.
