Quo Vadis & Friends: Inver

18th October

We are thrilled and as chuffed as can be for the great pleasure, and not to mention honour, of having Pam Brunton come all the way from the distant banks of Loch Fyne to cook with us at QV in October.

A fellow Dundonian, Pam shares Jeremy’s love of Scottish produce and food culture, which she celebrates with utmost finesse at her small and characterful restaurant, Inver.

You can find Inver nestled in the heart of mountain, croft, loch and sheep country – the wild west of Scotland. Here she has a wealth of stunning ingredients at her fingertips, from the produce of the restaurant’s flourishing cottage garden to freshly caught local seafood and heritage meats.

Pam has earned a reputation as the ideal custodian of this bounty, applying modern ingenuity to traditional Scottish recipes and flavours. Sustainability and responsible sourcing are also paramount and in 2021, Inver became the first restaurant in Scotland to be awarded a Michelin Green Star. Further accolades for Inver abound, including ‘Best Restaurant in Scotland’ in the 2022 National Restaurant Awards and a place in the Good Food Guide 2022’s ‘Top 10 Most Exciting UK Restaurants’.

Pam promises to share some of her (and Jeremy’s) favourite Scottish flavours with us at this very special QV & Friends. We hear rumblings of broth spiked with Arbroath smokies, whispers of bridies and mealie puddings and mutterings of a marmalade-slathered take on Dundee cake. Golly.

Guests on the night can expect a bite, followed by three courses served feasting-style. Tickets at £80 include an Everleaf welcome cocktail. Book here.

With thanks to Everleaf Drinks and Journey’s End wine.
