QV & Friends: Joké Bakare and Nick Bramham

In 2022, we invited Joké Bakare and Nick Bramham, two of the city’s most exciting chefs, to each cook a dinner at ours. A mutual admiration followed and two Farringdon pop-ups later, they’d proved an essential London pairing.

Much has changed since their QV debut. Joké now holds a Michelin star at Chishuru and is responsible for a generation of diners who know their uda from their uziza.

At Quality Wines, meanwhile, Nick has single-handedly made set lunches sexy, applying a perfectionist’s lens to the simple things, including sandwiches that quite frankly do not need to go that hard.

On Saturday 13th June, Nick and Joké return to the stoves in our ‘Legends’ slot to cook a menu indicative of their intuitively inventive cooking.
