Quo Vadis & Friends: AngloThai
AngloThai, conceived and delivered by heavenly husband-and-wife team of John and Desiree Chantarasak, marries traditional Thai recipes with seasonal British ingredients, complemented with low-intervention wine.
John is of British and Thai heritage, drawing influences from both cuisines when creating dishes for AngloThai. He has cooked all over the UK, Europe, South East Asia and North America, most notably at acclaimed Thai restaurants, Som Saa in London and Nahm in Bangkok.
According to The Sunday Times’ Marina O’Loughlin: “Chantarasak’s cooking is like a big, glorious, tongue-tingling slap of pleasure in the chops, each dish is a mini masterpiece…”
